CHARIS – Theology and Practice of Grace

Charis course provides a detailed overview of the grace of God, its foundation and work in our lives. Grace is the basis of our relationship with God and it has a crucial part in the growth, the equipping and the mission of a believer.

Charis course aims at helping the students to understand the grace of God, to trust grace in one’s life, to operate systematically on the basis of pure grace in relationships and ministry, and to accept that unique portion God has given to each believer.

Charis course meets on Thursdays 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the premises of the Scandinavian School of the Bible (Pukinmäenaukio 4 B, 00720 Helsinki). The classes start 17.1.2019. Teachers include Risto Kyrö, Arto Nousiainen, Ekku Reini, Olavi Söderlund, Roger Robbins, Jussi Holopainen and Peter Szabo.

The class is taught in English, but the homework and the exams can be done also in Finnish. The class textbook is “Charles Bing: Simply Grace” which can be purchased both in English and Finnish through the school.

DOULOS – Jumalan palveleminen

Doulos-kurssilla opitaan, kuinka Jeesus tuli itse palvelijaksi ja kuinka keskeinen rooli palvelemisella on myös jokaisen uskovan kutsussa ja elämässä.

Doulos-kurssi pidetään tiistaisin klo 18:30-20:30 Pohjoismaisen Raamattukoulun tiloissa Pukinmäenaukio 4 B, 00720 Helsinki. Tunnit alkavat 15.1.2019. Opettajina ovat Risto Kyrö, Arto Nousiainen, Juha Haatanen, Lassi Viljanen, Minna Väisänen, Ari Vehmas, Pirjo Vehmas, Tuula Enroth, Arto Kettunen, Ari Kangas-Kärki, Visa-Tarkko Leinonen, Kimmo Huovila, Katriina Junttila ja Robert Silfverberg.
